A brief trip south

We made a brief trip south of the Mason-Dixon line for a friend’s wedding. I may blog some of the great food we ate later, but for now I’m just posting this delightful biscuit sandwich and grits I had for breakfast on the last day at a cool restaurant called Big City Bread. I really love southern food, and I really love southern weather. It was 80° the whole time we were in Georgia. As I post this, we’re sitting in the airport, headed back to 0° in a snowstorm in North Dakota. Time to go back to reality, and time perhaps to learn how to make biscuit sandwiches and grits that taste like these.
